RIS would like to say “thank you” for all your support that makes this garden a possibility for our clients.
First, thank you to Jenny and her husband Isaac for their financial donation to this year’s garden. Jenny brought our office’s filing system up-to-date, while working for our office. She continued to support Columbia’s refugees with her donation all the way from Louisville, KY.
Secondly, thank you to The Crossing Church for their financial donation. We received their donation this morning and are excited to announce that we have reached our funding goal for this year!
Both of these donations will be used to purchase seeds and seedlings for our growers in this year’s garden.
Thirdly, thank you to Broadway Christian Church for being so accommodating and allowing so many of our growers to access their community garden. It has truly impacted our refugee community in an unmeasurable way.
Lastly, thank you to all of you who follow this blog and continue to support our refugee community. We could not possibly offer all these wonderful opportunities to refugees without your help!
